Yay! Thanksgiving is over and it is on to the Christmas season now. We went out to eat for Thanksgiving with some soldiers and our family, then came home and watched a couple movies with the kids.
The next morning my hubby got me out of bed at 4am to go check out some of the sales. We just had to go by Best Buy to see the chaos there because our friend called the night before and told us that there was a line a mile long already at 10pm Thanksgiving night lol. I can't believe that people actually camped out at a store on a family holiday it is really sad what the idea of family has been reduced to. So anyway we drove by at 4:50am and the line was at least 2 miles down the road NO JOKE!!! It was hilarious. After that we drove back to the PX where we found several things we wanted on sale and somethings that we picked up just because. Mind you I already finshed our Christmas shopping for the kids on 11/17 so this was really just about us and fun. After the PX we decided to go out to breakfast which is always nice for me since I am the one that is usually cooking it for everyone else! After that we headed down to Best Buy figuring it would be a little better since it was 10:30 by then. It turned out to be much better and we were still able to get a few things there at a VERY good price.
Saturday I got my hubby out of bed at 8am to go to the PX seeing as we had a 20% off coupon from the day before and we still needed one more flat screen monitor. We found it and got it for a great price!! So now our computers are all set with 3 19" flat screen monitors and 2 17" flat screen monitors. We like it all to match and fit
So Sunday we watched Over the Hedge with the kids and then pulled out the Christmas tree and decorations and our Living/Family room looks like a wonderland of Christmas joy and manger scenes. The kids loved decorating the tree and I got to put on the tree topper this year. After that we relaxed on the sofa and watched movies then played Everquest after dinner.
Alll in all I would say it was a VERY busy but great weekend. I am looking forward to catching up on some rest this week though.
My NEW REINDEER

"HESA"
Isn't that the cutest thing you have ever seen!! I saw this and had to have it! There is a small little joke behind the name too! My friend will know what I mean, the one who is disgruntled on the outside but a softy inside!!
