Aria: Hey Etta so glad to see you and hear from you. I am doing great I have just been busy with my website as you see I added a couple pages and I took a new position as FRG Leader in my community. Busy busy busy. The kids are great and YES that is our cat :) he is a wonderful kitty but more like our 5th kid- he whines and cries every morning around 8am to wake us up lol.

Flooded and Fixed

Ok so I came down Wednesday morning to our downstairs under an inch of water, our water heater busted and had been gushing while we slept. So we tore up all the carpet moved out the furniture and then just awaited the carpet guy who was to come Thursday or Friday.

Thursday we started baking our cookies for the troops and then watched some movies upstairs. The downstairs was just a mess. Later in the day the carpet guy got here and we got all new flooring

and we didn't lose anything of value! /phew.

So now that my house is back to normal we are going to be baking our cookies today and will decorate them later this evening! My hubby and I will wrap the gifts up and hide them in our closet until the kids are in bed sleeping on Christmas Eve!

It isn't long now that we will be celebrating this wonderful family holiday.
Keeping to tradition:
Christmas Eve Morning- The kids will cook hubby and me Christmas Eve Breakfast
Christmas Eve Day- We will play family games, drop cookies off to the soldiers stuck working, watch the old Christmas Specials
Christmas Eve Night- We will watch "Its a Wonderful Life" while we eat cookies and sip on hot cocoa

I hope everyone is enjoying the days leading up to Christmas with their families and I hope that they do the entire year through!!!

Wow that is cool that your kids cook you guys breakfast on christmas eve morning lol. I will have to try that when mine are older. It sounds like you are very true to traditions and that is a richness beyond all riches aria. Merry Christmas!!
